1. Service
Send Signals provides a pupil wellbeing check-in platform for schools. Access is provided through school-managed accounts (e.g. Microsoft/Google sign-in) or credentials issued by the school. For pupil data the school is the data controller and Send Signals Limited acts as its data processor under a UK GDPR (Article 28) Data Processing Agreement. A school uses the platform under our School Subscription and Data Agreement and Data Processing Agreement, which it accepts in the platform before any pupil or staff data is entered. You can read both at app.sendsignals.co.uk/legal/school-agreement and app.sendsignals.co.uk/legal/dpa. Those agreements, not this page, set out the subscription, liability and data protection terms for schools.
2. Intellectual Property
All content, design, and code is the property of Send Signals Limited. The Send Signals name and logo are the subject of trademark applications filed April 2026.
3. Acceptable Use
The platform must be used in accordance with school policies and UK law. Schools are responsible for ensuring appropriate use within their institution.
4. Liability
Send Signals provides tools to support SEND provision but does not replace professional judgement. Schools retain responsibility for safeguarding decisions. Send Signals is not a clinical, crisis or safeguarding service.
5. Governing Law
These terms are governed by English law and subject to the jurisdiction of the English courts.
